Standing out in a world of sameness

As some of you may know, I am not a big fan of the NBA. I find it terribly boring to watch, especially during the regular season as it seems most of the players don't care about the score. Defense is half assed at best which causes the game to lack strategy and toughness. It is basically pass once and throw up a shot or a 1-1 drudge match.

What makes me watch the NBA are the colorful and crazy players who make the game interesting such as Chris "Birdman" Anderson. Not only is he the type of player who plays with aggression and passion for the game but he prides himself on his creative tattoos. He sure won't disappoint the crowds this year with his newest edition on his neck.

I see tattoos as a way to brand oneself or to advertise an image. In many cases the loudest person in the room is the one that is heard the best, and I think that trophy goes to the Birdman.

Props to you Birdman for having the guts to get a neck tattoo which includes flames and the dollar bill sign.
