

Personal opinion, this could kill Reebok. I know they have now moved into the women's shoe and fitness apparel business but losing the grip on the NFL is a big downer to the business. Bloomberg news reported that the NFL deal makes up half of the $650M apparel revenue for Reebok. You can't make up that difference by selling more Easy Tone sneakers.
On the flip side, Nike's ingenuity and flare will add to the sweetness of the NFL jerseys. I mean just look at what Nike has done for the U of Oregon athletic program. Their football program has over 100 different combinations of jerseys.
Hey, I wonder if Nike or Wieden+Kennedy will be hiring any recent grads in the spring of 2012?
