Save my favorite ESPN commentator

So, I guess as a ESPN analyst there are rules about expressing your political views. Seems as though sweet Lou Holtz has gotten himself into a bit of a pickle over comments made to GOP supporters about a campaign to "fire Nancy Pelosi". Now, I am not in a position to comment on his political views, although I am a Republican. What I will comment on are the stupid football references that were made in the pamphlet. Here are a few I find repulsive:

-The House can't find the end zone without your support
-We are late in the 4th quarter of the midterm elections
-Drive the Republican party to victory

Why is it necessary to make frivolous sports references when trying to hit home a point. It cheapens the call to action, especially for those of us in the communication/advertising business.

All that's left to be said is that Lou is a great football analyst and a big reason why my wife watches football with me. So for that fact, ESPN, please don't fire Sweet Lou.

PS. He would be an amazing Grandpa!
