A Michigan man has put heart surgery on hold because he doesn't want to miss the Battle for the Governor's Trophy. He claims to be a die hard Michigan St. fan. Now that may be true but by delaying his pacemaker surgery he is putting more of an emphasis on DIE than on die hard fan.
And I thought I was too passionate about sports. Now I love the OSU Cowboys. I watch their games, follow their blogs, wear the gear and "bleed orange" but there is no way I would put any medical procedure or even doctor's appointment on hold for a football game.
You would think this man would take some advice from the MSU head coach who had a heart attack after the ND game. Coach took a few weeks off and is easing back into his position. Nothing is more important than your health, for darn sake, they have TV's in the hospital rooms. This is one of the reasons why people from other countries such as the middle east hate America so much.
So, MSU players and coaches, NO PRESSURE. If you play like crap and lose to Michigan, DUDE over here might blow a gasket while cursing the TV.
