I have pretty much given up on understanding the point of these NFL stars signing huge contracts. Take for example Donovan McNabb, who signed a 5 year-$78 million dollar deal. After the details have been uncovered, he is only guaranteed $3.5 million of that total. So, that is why I say, to hell with the contracts.
I have a large suspicion that the Skins are just going to release him after the end of the season to avoid paying that contract especially after his dismal and embarrassing performance against the Eagles.
My proposal is the NFL go strictly to 1 year contracts which are guaranteed, would sure make the players play harder throughout the season....unless they were trying to avoid injury.

My favorites are:
$200,000 for getting more followers on Twitter than T.O.
$400,000 for completing full P90x program
$250,000 for completing training camp drills
